Here is another completed renovation project from MGLM Architects. This “Zook”-style home incorporates numerous design elements from the well-known, Chicago-area architect R. Harold Zook. You will notice many of these distinctive stylings throughout including exposed timber beams, numerous spiderweb iron work pieces and his signature wooden shingle roof with its undulating patterns. Oh, and did I mention the lake side view? You can’t ask for anything better!

The home owners were kind enough to allow us to come in and photograph the home all with only a 24 hour notice!

Worked with Derrick Architecture again this week to do a photo shoot on a recently completed home in La Grange, IL. The homeowners were kind enough to allow us to come in and spend a good three+ hours shooting the home from every angle of nearly every room! It was well worth it as the results are outstanding. It’s a beautifully decorated home with amazing architectural details.
